PATAGONIA

We’re in business to save our home planet.

Since 1973 Patagonia has worked tirelessly to make the best product, do less harm and to use business to provide solutions to our environmental crisis.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. It didn’t take long to realize that protecting the earth’s wild places - where we climb, ski, hike and camp, was as important as building the clothing and equipment for them.

Clothing can be more sustainable. Since 1996 when Patagonia switched to 100% organic cotton, they have pioneered the use of recycled materials, Fair Trade certified labor, worked to develop the Regenerative Organic standard for agriculture and cotton farming and are working across the supply chain to reduce the carbon footprint of their products.

Still family owned by the Chouinards, 1% of sales are donated to grassroots environmental organizations and Patagonia has donated over $100 million dollars to date, supporting groups around the world and in our own backyards.
